Three men have been arrested in connection with a suspected burglary in Nascot Wood.

Following a call to the police, the men were arrested in North Watford Playing Fields at about 7pm on Monday.

Police are now asking residents to check their properties and gardens for items that may have been discarded by the men.

Detective Sergeant Ian Siggery said: “If you see anything unusual in your garden, in your bins, under hedges or in the street, please get in touch. We suspect there may be items such as gloves, hats and possibly screwdriver- type implements missing and we would urge everyone locally to keep an eye out.”

Officers believe the men made off from Grange Close, across the railway tracks and into Sussex Road.

DS Siggery added: “Also please get in touch if you saw three men in dark clothing acting suspiciously or knocking on doors on the estate on this night between 7pm and 7.30pm.”

Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
