Well the new antibiotics are making a difference, just not sure if it is a good or bad one? Over the last day life in my bowel transplant recovery has been a little different. I guess that different is good, it means that I don't always know what to expect which is great. My daily game of guessing the time and amount of output really has reached the next level.

On the positive side I no longer seem to be having an immediate reaction to putting on the feed. In fact quite the opposite. It can now be hours later than things get going and often a few hours after the feed is off does the high output start again. I suppose the combination of loperimide (am supposed to take up to 16 p day) and the antibiotic are making things different. I will need to alter my spread betting skills now as the predictability of time and volume has been blown out the window. What this does mean is that it can often be the middle of the night when output is at its highest, a complete role reversal from before. Tomorrow I may change the feed around and put it on overnight that way I can deal with the output during the day as opposed to getting up in the night.

Aside from that things continue to tick along. I do feel that my appetite has dropped a bit and if it wasn't for my vigilant wife ensuring that I keep trying things I could happily plod along without eating. Not a good idea I know! So before I get members of my family asking me why I am not eating - I am, I may not want too but I am!!

Not much else to report today so chat tomorrow.
