Road works to replace the traffic lights at a busy West Watford junction have started today.

Temporary lights will be operating at the junction between Whippendell Road and Hagden Lane for around four weeks as work goes on.

Work on the lights will go on between 9.30am and 4.30pm and are scheduled to finish on February 27.

The move comes after similar works have finished on Oxhey Lane and are part of programme of work by Hertfordshire County Council to replace traffic lights which are over 15 years old.
