Staff at a Bushey school that is giving away all of its second hand furniture before being demolished are urging volunteer organisations to make the most of the offer.
Highwood School’s desks, cupboards and even blinds can be taken away by charities or community groups during pre-booked appointments on February 21, 22 and 23.
Bookings can be made from now and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Teachers and students will move into a new school built on the former playing fields on February 27.
Former students are invited to see the Bushey Mill Lane school one last time before it is knocked down.
Past pupils can book appointments for a nostalgic tour this Friday, February 3.
To make a booking to collect items of furniture or take a tour, telephone the school reception on 01923 226648.
