Two football coaches from Chorleywood Common Youth FC have started training for the longest walk of their lives – from London to Brighton.
Andy Doyle and fellow coach Gary Willimott are taking part in the “London 2 Brighton Challenge” to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The specialist children's hospital needs to raise £50 million a year in order to refurbish the building and buy new equipment.
The fundraising pair have already beaten their £500 target online and are well on the way to the £800 mark.
Most of the more than 1,000 entrants who line up at the start walk the distance between the capital and the seaside town, some jog parts of it, and a handful choose to run the 60-mile route.
