Manhunt following following assault on student
Police launched a manhunt yesterday after a student was seriously assaulted near West Herts College.
A police car was seen driving down the pedestrian underpass under Rickmansworth Road and officer were scrambled to train stations including Watford Metropolitan station and Watford Junction in pursuit of suspects.
The 17-year-old male victim, from Harrow, is a student at the college in Hempstead Road.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said it was still investigating the incident and no arrests had yet been made.
