A teenage girl has been taken to hospital with an injured neck after being headbutted by a horse at a riding centre in Aldenham.
An air ambulance was sent as well as paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service at around 1.55pm on Sunday to the Patchetts Equestrian Centre in Hillfield Lane.
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The young girl who we believe to be 16-years-old received a neck injury after a horse headbutted her in the head.
“Paramedics treated and stabilised her at the scene before she was conveyed by land ambulance to Watford General Hospital for further care."
