A forklift has been stolen from the grounds of a nursery school in Radlett.
Police are appealing to witnesses following the theft from First Place nursery between 6.05pm and 7pm on Tuesday, January 17.
Offenders cut through a lock on the gate, started the forklift and loaded it with concrete bricks, which they then used to block the entrance before taking it from the site.
PC Colin Workman, who is investigating the case, said: “The offenders were wearing high visibility clothing and hard hats and they may have had to stop the traffic.
“If you were in the area you may have thought they were working at the site.
“I would appeal to anyone who did see anything to contact me with information.”
Anyone with information should contact PC Workman on the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
