Conservative MP Mike Penning is backing a bill to move clocks forward by one hour, to increase safety and boost business.

Mr Penning, MP for Hemel Hempstead, is supporting the Daylight Saving Bill, which receives its Third Reading in the House of Commons tomorrow. Backers argue that lighter evenings could save lives on roads by making evening rush hours occur in daylight, create jobs by boosting tourism and make many feel safer going out in the evenings.
