Woman hit by bus has "serious injuries"
An 18-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries after being hit by a bus in Garston.
The incident happened at 11.11am in Garston Lane. The woman was taken to Watford General Hospital but was then transferred to St Mary's Hospital in London.
The police said she had serious injuries, including a head injury.
Hertfordshire Highways were also called to repair some bollards which were knocked over.
The road reopened at 13.42pm.
