Lawrie Clarkson and Sandy Lodge Captain Mick Court
A golf enthusiast celebrated his 100th birthday at the club he has been a member of for half his life.
Lawrie Clarkson marked the occasion with friends at Sandy Lodge Golf Club in Moor Park, where he has been a member for more than 50 years.
Mr Clarkson, who lives in Pinner, said he attributes his long life “to the values given him by his parents and to taking part in a lot of outdoor activities.”
He still enjoys a glass of wine but gave up smoking over 50 years ago.
