People have until February 3 to nominate their favourite lollipop person for recognition with a county-wide award.
There are currently around 150 lollipop men and women operating in the county to ensure children get to school safely.
Stuart Pile, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said: “It is important we recognise these individuals who keep our children safe each and every day. I hope many of the parents in Hertfordshire will take time to nominate a crossing patrol officer who they think deserves this annual award.”
To nominate a candidate, email their name, the location of their crossing and the reasons why they deserve the award to school.crossingpatrols@hertscc.gov.uk.
