Roadworks that started on Oxhey Lane last week are due to carry on until the end of the month.
Temporary lights are currently in action along the arterial route at the junction with Little Oxhey Lane.
Hertfordshire County Council is carrying out signal refurbishment works which are scheduled to finish on January 31.
