Filming for a new NBC Universal movie has taken place in Bovingdon.

Scenes for film Anna Karenina, which stars Jude Law, Keira Knightley, Aaron Johnson and Emily Watson, were recorded in Bovingdon Airfield during December.

The film stars were said not to be present for filming in the village.

This is not the first time movie studios have opted to use Bovingdon Airfield for filming.

Last year the Watford Observer reported how Warner Bros. studios used the site to film movie Sherlock Holmes.
