An vital step in the Croxley Rail Link has been taken, after an application for the construction works has been submitted.

Hertfordshire County Council and London Underground have applied to the Secretary of State for Transport for an order authorising the construction, maintenance and operation of the project.

The Transport Works Act order is a public document and can be viewed free of charge until 17 February.

This gives residents and businesses in Watford and Croxley Green six weeks to register their concerns.

The document can be viewed at Croxley Green Library in Barton Way on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 2pm to 6pm, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9am to 6pm, and on Saturday 9am to 4pm.

It can also be seen at Watford Central Library in Hempstead Road, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 7pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2pm to 7pm, Saturday from 9am to 4pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.

Copies can be obtained from the project office, by telephoning 0800 612 5240 or downloaded from the related link below.
