Members of Hertsmere Council are expected to approve the authority’s latest annual budget despite a reduction of more than £850,000 in government grants.
The borough council has made up much of the deficit it faces in the 2011/2012 financial year through redundancies and structural changes.
The projected spending in the coming year will be assessed by members of the authority’s executive committee at a meeting on Wednesday.
