Christmas trees in Three Rivers can be recycled by leaving them out with the brown bin.
However, many festive cards and wrapping paper which contain glitter, tinsel, glue, foil and ribbons cannot be recycled.
Collection points for Christmas cards can be found at Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth, Abbots Langley Parish Council and Watford Rural Parish Council in South Oxhey.
