AN employee of the company that organises the National Lottery will tackle a tough assault course through barbed wire, flames and underwater tunnels to raise money for a children’s centre in Watford.
Paul Clarke decided to attempt the Tough Guy Challenge, a national competition, after attending the Christmas party at the Watford mencap Children's Centre.
The 10K assault course, to be held on January 29, usually takes competitors between three and four hours to complete, and is designed to test mental and physical strength.
Mr Clarke’s employer, Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, has agreed to match his fundraising efforts up to £750.
