Train passengers travelling between Watford and St Albans faced delays this morning after high winds felled a tree onto tracks overnight.
A taxi service was laid on people affected by the incident which happened in the How Wood area.
Workmen with chainsaws were called remove the tree and London Midland trains said the service has now resumed.
