The teenager accused with murdering West Herts College student, Katie Wynter, on Boxing Day has appeared in court today.
Tony Bushby, 18, was remanded into custody at St Albans Crown Court by Judge Andrew Bright QC this morning.
He is accused of killing the 19-year-old at her sister's home in Beech Drive, Borehamwood.
Ms Wynter, a former student of Queens’ school in Bushey, was discovered stabbed to death at the address on the December 27.
Bushby, of Digswell Close, Borehamwood, is set to appear again at the court for a plea hearing on March 14.
A trial date has been set for July 2.
