The new housing development at Vicarage Road Stadium in Watford has won a design award.
The Wrap, built by Origin Housing, was awarded Best Architectural Design at The First Time Buyer Awards.
There are 164 one and two-bedroom flats at the complex, which “wraps” around the corners of the football stadium – home of Watford FC.
Cori Daniels, a centre back for Watford Ladies who lives at The Wrap, said: “It’s fantastic to be living in an award winning home - I love the look of the development, it makes a great first impression.
“What’s more, as it’s my fifth season playing for Watford Ladies, I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to live in a development that is literally wrapped around the Vicarage Road stadium.”
