Hornets stars will show their support for a homeless charity before their match against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
Watford FC captain John Eustance last week visited residents and staff at the New Hope House, in Queens Road.
The house is run by the Watford New Hope Trust and provides accommodation for ten people who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets.
Eustace and his team-mates will now wear t-shirts supporting the charity during their warm-up before Saturday’s home match – their final game at Vicarage Road this season.
Volunteers for the charity will also be collecting donations around the ground.
Eustace said: “Watford New Hope Trust does fantastic work with homeless people in Watford.
“It not only provides safe accommodation but enables men and women to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into the community.
“It’s a privilege to be able to support their work in this way.”
Mike Smith, the trust CEO, added: “The trust is a local charity and we’re dependent upon the generosity of the local community.
“All the money raised will help us continue to house 50 people every night, and help up to 800 homeless people every year through a variety of services.”
