A man was taken to hospital after his car crashed into a tree and then a wall in Chorleywood this afternoon.
The driver had to be cut from his car after the Rover clipped a tree and careered onto the wrong side of the road, and into the wall, at about 3pm.
Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to the incident, in Shire Lane, where the man was stabilised before being cut from the car.
A crew from Rickmansworth Fire Station assisted the fast-response paramedic before an ambulance arrived to take the man to Watford General Hospital with neck and spine injuries, though his condition was not thought to be serious.
Shire Lane was closed for about 45 minutes during the incident.
