Golfers have raised more than £3,000 for an Armed Forces charity during an annual tournament.
Members of Sandy Lodge Golf Club, in Sandy Lodge Lane, Northwood, competed for the annual St George’s Day trophy before enjoying a traditional English roast beef lunch and a rousing singsong on Saturday.
The trophy winners were Linda Murphy and Louise Tipping with presentations made by Mick Court who organised the event.
Mick, from Watford, said: “It was rewarding to raise so much for such a good cause and everyone had a great time.”
