Police are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was punched in the jaw outside an Abbots Langley pub.
A Hemel Hempstead man was standing outside the Royal Oak Pub in Kitters Green, on Friday, April 15 at about 11.45pm, when he became involved in an argument.
While both men were arguing, another man approached the victim, punched him in the jaw and ran off.
The man did not see who attacked him.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
An 18-year-old man from Abbots Langley has been arrested in connection with this incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He has been released on bail and is due to return to Hemel Hempstead police station in May.
