A benefit cheat who claimed almost £6,000 that he was not entitled to has been ordered to repay the money.
Louis Filip Pedrosa, of Queen’s Road, Watford, continued to claim Housing Benefit after he started full time work.
He was interviewed by Watford Borough Council officers in June 2010 and later appeared at Hemel Hempstead Magistrates Court.
He has now been ordered to repay a total of to £5988.72. He was also ordered to complete 80 hours of community service and told to pay costs of £450 to the council.
