A nursery in Chorleywood has been awarded an “outstanding” rating from Ofsted.
The Old MacDonald’s Day Nursery in Heronsgate Road achieved the highest mark the Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills awards, in every area of its service.
In June last year the Watford Observer reported how the Old MacDonald’s Day Nursery, in Darley Ash Farm, Chipperfield Road, Bovingdon, also received an “outstanding” inspection.
Director Mandy Selwood said: “I am pleased we have been recognised for all our hard work. We have a fantastic team. This is a fantastic result and a tribute to the efforts of all our staff.
“I know first hand how hard our staff work. We shall maintain our already high level of service and strive to look for ways to improve further if we can.”
Ofsted were impressed by how well behaved and settled the children were, and how they benefited from high quality equipment.
