A lorry driver extinguished a fire on the the wheel arch of his cab on the M25 this morning.
Firefighters were called to the incident, between junction 17 (Rickmansworth) and junction 18 (Chorleywood), at about 10am.
The driver of the Eddie Stobart lorry had pulled over to the hard shoulder and tackled the small fire with an extinguisher before the crews arrived.
No-one was hurt in the incident and all lanes remained open.
