Two men have been arrested after an attempted robbery in a Watford retail park left one member of staff in hospital this morning.
Police were called to B&Q, in Arches Retail Park, Lower High Street, at 9.52am, where a robbery was taking place.
A 46-year-old man, who works at the home improvement store, was taken to Watford General Hospital with head injuries.
The retail park was sealed off by officers and a partial road closure put in place at Bushey Arches and Dalton Way, at the junction with Lower High Street.
These have since been lifted and normal service in the retail park has resumed.
