A former Watford schoolboy received a prestigious Hollywood award on Saturday.
Giles Andrew, a former pupil at Watford Grammar School for Boys, was honoured at the Academy of Television Foundation’s 32nd annual College Television Awards.
Mr Andrew, who is currently studying at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, won the award for best comedy for his co-written piece In Captivity, which tells the story of a man forced to live as part of a museum exhibition.
