Burglars have stolen valuable and distinctive jewellery from a Bovingdon home.
On Thursday, March 31, between 1.15pm and 1.40pm, thieves broke into a house in Bovingdon Green, through an unlocked back door.
They stole a number of items, most of which were engraved, including:
• Diamond ring
• Pearl necklace
• Brass carriage clock, six inches tall with a handle across the top
• Tennis cup – Engraved with “Queenswood School Junior Tennis Cup”
• Plain wedding ring – Engraved with an orange blossom pattern
• Silver cigarette case – Engraved initials G H W and “The Batting Prize” 1908
• Rigid silver bracelet – Engraved on inside “Love From Bob”
• Silver table centrepiece in the shape of three scallops
• Diamond and sapphire eternity ring
Police are appealing for witnesses with information to call non-emergency number: 0845 3300222.
