More than a dozen hairdressers from Watford will march in memory of their “irreplaceable” boss.
Stylists from Clipso salon in Queen’s Road will take part in The Peace Hospice’s annual Starlight Walk to pay their respects to their former manager, Terry Calvert.
Award-winning hairdresser Terry passed away on Thursday, February 3, after an 18-month battle with bowel cancer.
Russel McGrath, the operations director for Clipso, said: "The girls taking part and the rest of the staff have come through a very difficult period following Terry’s death and I cannot praise them enough.
“The care he received at the hospice was second to none and the girls wanted to do something not only to remember Terry, but to also raise money for such a fantastic cause."
Russel described Terry as "irreplaceable”.
“He's a legend in hairdressing and in the life he led. His company is his legacy," he said.
The Starlight Walk is an all-female marathon raising money for The Peace Hospice and raised more than £160,000 last year.
The girls in the salon have supported the hospice before, styling the performers for the Strictly Come Hospice fundraiser earlier this month.
The walk through Watford is on Saturday, June 11, starting at midnight.
