A brand new community radio station has found its home in Watford town centre.
Vibe 107.6 has settled in the offices of Watford Community Housing Trust in Clarendon Road and work is underway to build the studios with money donated by the trust’s Better Communities organisation.
David Rees, the director of Vibe, said: "We're delighted to be working with Watford Community Housing Trust."
The station boasts a 'not-for-profit' policy and promises to play a mixture of music, aimed at young people ages 13-25 in the Watford area.
Tina Barnard, chief executive of the trust, said: "We are thrilled to welcome The Vibe to our offices. It ties in perfectly with our own commitment to community involvement."
