A school in Rickmansworth has been labelled “outstanding” by government inspectors.
St Joan of Arc Catholic School in the High Street announced the results of its Ofsted report yesterday.
Peter Sweeney, headteacher, said: “I am absolutely delighted with the results. I am very proud to lead a school where pupils are able to thrive and grow in a vibrant and inspiring environment.
“Our success has been down to the dedicated staff and governors at St Joan’s but most importantly because of the excellent attitude towards learning that all our pupils demonstrate.
“I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone involved with the school for their continuing hard work and support.”
The inspection team made a particular reference to the feeling of value and pride students hold for the school.
