Twenty student businesses will compete for sales when the Young Enterprise Annual Trade Fair takes place in Watford.
Shoppers can visit stalls, manned by pupils from ten different secondary schools, selling items ranging from grow-your-own-plant kits to vintage accessories, in the lower mall of The Harlequin Centre, outside Marks and Spencer, between 9am and 6pm on Saturday.
Katy Burke, regional programme manager for the Young Enterprise, said: “The Young Enterprise scheme gives local youths the chance to get a real feel for business and the skills needed to run and maintain a successful company.
“The Harlequin has supported this scheme for many years giving Watford youngsters a great opportunity to be active in the local community whilst getting invaluable work experience that is great for their CVs.”
