Thieves have stolen a petrol cap from a car parked in a Kings Langley road.

Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed that thieves forced open the petrol flap on a Vauxhall Corsa parked in Whitlars Drive and removed the cap. No fuel was taken.

Police are now investigating and believe the incident took place between Saturday afternoon at 2pm, and 8.40am yesterday.

They have further confirmed there have not been a spate of these types of thefts in the area.
