Guests at Hilton Watford will be using their small change to make a big difference to disadvantaged children over the coming months as part of Hilton in the Community Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign.
Small Change, Big Difference will be running in Watford throughout October, November and December. The campaign invites hotel guests to add an optional £1 onto their room bill during their stay.
The campaign has now raised over £835,000 for children’s charities since its inception in 2004.
Neil Shears, general manager at Hilton Watford said: “This is a very worthwhile campaign and one that I hope our generous guests in Watford will support once again.
”By choosing to add an optional £1 we can help Hilton in the Community Foundation to ensure that disadvantaged children receive the support that they need. Working together your small change really can add up to make a real difference to children’s lives.”
Hilton in the Community Foundation has supported children in Watford since 2000 with grants supporting many local good causes.
These have included Watford New Hope, which offers support to homeless young people in the area, Watford Child Contact Centre and the provision of equipment for The Starfish and Safari Ward at Watford General Hospital.
All proceeds raised from the campaign in Watford will be used to support disadvantaged children through Hilton in the Community Foundation’s grants programme.
