A Bushey woman who suddenly lost her father in January to a heart attack will take on an “emotional” half-marathon for charity on Sunday.
Amanda Esteban, of Ashdon Road, will be raising money for Heart Research UK after her father, Mick, died of a heart attack aged 65.
The 38-year-old has already raised more than £500 for the charity and hopes to boost that total before the Royal Parks Foundation run, in Hyde Park.
She said: “I’m running in memory of my lovely dad. My family has a history of heart disease, so I’m raising money for Heart Research UK - I hope it will help give someone else’s dad a longer life.”
