The rich colours of the Autumn season have been celebrated at a meeting of the Abbots Langley Flower Arrangement Society.
Visitors turned out in force to the Henderson Hall, on September 23, as guest speaker Gill McGregor presented a demonstration based on the theme “Autumn Delights”.
Terracotta flowerpots were filled with bronze leaves, red Virginia creeper, smoke bush leaves and orange berberas, while wicker vases held a selection of green and pink orchids.
The next meeting of the society will be held on October 28, at the Henderson Hall, from 7.30pm.
Guest speaker Daphne Grant will present a demonstration on “Gorgeous Glass”.
