Four men have been arrested on suspicion of fraud and immigration offences after a series of police raids in Watford.
Officers, using warrants granted under the Proceeds of Crime Act, raided properties in St Albans Road and The Phillipers, Garston, on Wednesday, where they used sniffer dogs to uncover hidden cash.
A 43-year-old was arrested at the first address on suspicion of fraud and had been bailed until January. Two other men were also arrested at the property on suspicion of immigration offences and are being dealt with by the UK Border Agency.
A 45-year-ol man was detained at the second address on suspicion of money laundering. He has been bailed until the beginning of November.
