Small electrical items can be recycled at Watford Town Hall this week, as part of National Customer Service Week 2010.
Two large green bins will be placed in the foyer of the Customer Service Centre, where residents can drop off anything small and electrical, from today until Friday, October 8.
Electrical gadgets and toys can be accepted, as well as hairdryers, shavers, electric toothbrushes and kitchen goods such as kettles, toasters and food mixers. Larger items including TVs and monitors will not be accepted.
Watford Borough Council's customer service advisors help up to 1,300 customers every week and handle more than 3,000 telephone enquiries a week.
