The sound of violins, cellos, flutes and trumpets playing a selection of classical of music will fill a church in Abbots Langley to celebrate the autumn season.
The Abbots Langley Orchestra will be holding its Autumn Concert on Saturday, November 27, in St Lawrence Church in the High Street.
Starting from 3pm, music which will be performed includes Mendelssohn's “Hebrides Overture”, Beethoven's dramatic "Eroica" symphony and a flute concerto played by local soloist Tim Hodson.
Open to all ages, tickets cost £5 and are available at the door. Refreshments will be served during the interval.
