Members of the Watford Camera Club unveiled a week-long exhibition in The Harlequin shopping centre this afternoon.
About 80 guests were invited to see the pictures displayed by about 30 members of the amateur photography club, which was founded in 1903.
Dan Langstone, whose work is on display, said: “It is nice to get your photos seen by so many people. I enjoy the feeling of people coming to view my pictures and liking what they see.”
The club has displayed work in the shopping centre for at least the past ten years and president Jaqueline Nutkins said this is the most successful year yet.
“We have had about 170 entries but we just have not had space for them all. It has been very good so far. It is the ultimate thing for an amateur photographer and that is why so many people wanted to show their work this week.”
The exhibition will run until Sunday, October 10, near the entrance to Palace car park, in The Harlequin, and entrance is free.
