The Volunteer Centre will be holding a Trustees Open Evening during National Trustees’ Week on Wednesday 27th October in the Dickinson Room, Three Rivers Council Offices, 7-9pm. Come along and hear from local trustees, find out what the role of a trustee is, what the benefits of becoming a trustee are and have an opportunity to ask questions. There are many different charitable organisations in Three Rivers, all reliant on their trustees. Trustees are people with responsibility for making the important decisions about the direction of the charity and its work. Being a trustee is a great way to make a difference to a cause you care about, it’s also a great way to use your skills and meet new people in your community.
