Permission to build flats above a former Barclays Bank, will be considered by Chorleywood Parish Council next week.
Hempstead Estates have submitted plans to extend the living space above the Lower Road bank to incorporate two, two-bedroom homes.
The bank was controversially closed last July, leaving many residents without local access to their accounts. Parish councillors will discuss the scheme at a planning meeting next Tuesday.
