Businesses can find out what a Graduate Student could do for them - the University of Hertfordshire will present an opportunity to employ a graduate for a limited time, with government funding.
In these difficult times this is an important opportunity for businesses to extend their skills and help employment - while being funded.
Hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) this informative evening at the De Havilland Campus, AL10 9EU is open to FSB members, non-members and anyone running their own business or thinking of starting one.
Said Dr Ruth Herman of the University of Hertfordshire Business School: "This is an exceptional scheme that will benefit small businesses, giving them expertise that they might not otherwise be able to get access to."
The scheme runs over a 12 week period and in effect allows you to ensure the graduate is adding value to your business without long term commitment. This will both ensure that we retain talent in the region and support businesses into the economic upturn.
The event is on Wednesday, October 20, from 6pm at University of Hertfordshire De Havilland Campus, AL10 9EU. Entry is £5. Refreshments will be available.
