A group of physically impaired students from a Bushey school are celebrating winning “a stack of medals” at the Wheelchair and Amputee Games.
The students, from Bushey Meads School, in Coldharbour Lane, won 19 medals at the four-day event, in Stoke Mandeville, last week.
Headteacher Keith Douglas, said: “The students worked really hard and performed brilliantly, many setting personal best records. This event is led by Ms Day who I would like to congratulate, along with all the staff who assisted her.
“The main congratulations must go to our physically impaired students themselves. Congratulations to every one of them on their very commendable performance.”
