A Bushey pre-school has re-named its nursery to be “more appealing and fun” for its young pupils.
The reception class at St Hilda's School, in High Street, is now called Little St Hilda's after changing its name from the school's Early Years' Unit.
Headteacher Loraine Cavanagh explained: “It is a bit more user and child friendly – we call them little saints for short. I think it is important that the childrens' first memories of education are happy and fun.
"The new name allows them to take ownership of the area and if it helps them feel at home we are doing the right thing.”
