Two Watford postal workers teamed up with a disabled ultra-distance runner on Saturday to raise money for a children’s charity.
Andy Moore, from the Royal Mail centre in Ascot Road, and Post Office worker Stefan Wilenczyc joined renowned runner Chris Moon MBE on a 23 mile run from Hounslow to Watford’s Harlequin Post Office.
Mr Moon, who lost an hand and a leg in an explosion, is currently taking part in the Post Office 1000 Challenge for children’s charity Barnardos – a 1,000 mile multi-marathon run through September.
After starting in Edinburgh on September 1, he will finish in London on Thursday.
