Four youths will learn next month whether they will face charges over a brutal assault that left a young man fighting for his life.
The men, aged between 19 and 17, were arrested after a 23-year-old Bovingdon man was viciously attacked in an underpass in Watford town centre in the early hours of Sunday, August 22.
He was treated for serious head injuries in a London hospital but is now making a good recovery.
Two 19-year-old men, and 18-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy – all from Watford – answered bail at a Watford police station yesterday.
They were re-bailed until October 25.
